Comprehensive testing of boiler unit No. 1, manufactured by Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk JSC, successfully completed at Vladivostok TPP-2
Comprehensive testing of the E-540-13.8-560 GM steam boiler took place from December 24, 2023 to December 27, 2023. Based on its results, the equipment was recognized as ready for operation.
The equipment supply is carried out within the framework of the project “Reconstruction of energy production and technological complex of Vladivostok TPP-2 with the replacement of turbine units at power stations Nos. 1, 2, 3 and installation of 3 boiler units of 540 t/h capacity each.”
Vladivostok TPP-2 is the largest power plant in Vladivostok, which plays an important role in ensuring electricity and heat supply to the city. It provides 60% of the city's needs for electrical energy and 63% for thermal energy.
Based on the results of the ongoing project, the thermal power plant will finally switch to natural gas operation - the most environmentally friendly type of fossil fuel, which will significantly reduce the amount of harmful emissions in the region.
